Model CD11
The Candig CD11 model tows easily with a small car, quad, or
even pushed by hand. At only 840 pounds, the ultra
mini excavator causes little damage to surrounding lawns or other sensitive
areas. At the same time, you will be pleased with the impressive break-out
force generated by the 5.5 horse power Honda engine (about equal to a small tracked excavator).
Numerous included and optional accessories add great value and versatility to your investment. Use
your access wheels to allow your mini excavator to slip through yard gates or
doorways. The thumb allows you to pick up boulders or logs weighing well over 1000 pounds, and place them where you
wish.
The model CD11 mini excavator also has available a second, 6 inch wide trenching

horse power Honda engine. Weighing 1200 pounds, the CD21 is capable of digging
seven feet deep through tough rocky ground with ease.
Like the smaller CD11, the CD21 is also prized for its exceptional stability on uneven ground.

Trenching Bucket
The CD11 can be equipped with three buckets. The first is 12 inches wide and has a capacity
of about 2 cubic feet. The second, trenching bucket is only 6 inches wide and is
ideal for installing cables or sprinkler systems. The third bucket allows you to clean up and grade. The CD21 can also have three
buckets. For the CD21, the first bucket is 13 inches wide (and deeper than the regular bucket for the CD11), and has a capacity of about 3 cubic feet.
The second trenching bucket is 8 inches wide and is great for digging down 7
feet to install water lines. The third bucket is 20 inches wide, and is good for clean up and grading.
Access Wheels
The CD11 and CD21 have access wheels that pin onto the Mini Excavator in seconds, allowing
them to become 28 inches wide. They are sturdy, 6 inch steel wheels which allow
you to move either model
through those tight spots with ease.
Thumb
The thumb is also available with both the CD11 and CD21. There is a choice of mechanical or hydraulic thumb for the model CD21. The mechanical
thumb can be pinned in a retracted position for storage, and will always be
available for use by quickly and easily re-pinning it into its work position. The hydraulic thumb is driven hydraulically, making it even easier to pick up those large boulders or trees.
Ripper
The ripper/root cutter is attached to the bottom of the bucket of your choice, and allows CanDig
to dig through frozen or tough ground easier. For 2006, the ripper has been modified to also act as a root cutter.
Fenders, Lights, and safety chain
make it legal and safe to tow on the highway.
Wood Splitter, Auger and Hydraulic Stabilizers
The optional Wood Splitter is capable of quartering your firewood in one pass. That means you can split your wood three times faster than with a regular hydraulic splitter!
The 6 inch auger is also available with any model, and is equipped with a torque bar for safety. It is capable of augering 36 inches into and back out of the ground with its forward and reverse action.
Both models come with manual stabilizers, but you can up-grade them to be driven hydraulically so that you can quickly and conveniently change it from travel mode to work mode automatically. The hydraulic stabilizers provide the added benefit of being able to self-level the excavator on extremely uneven ground.
The wood splitter, auger, and hydraulic stabilizers simply "plug into" your existing CanDig using quick connects which will be installed for you at the factory.
