Contest Rules
• It’s free to enter.
• You must be at least 19 years of age to enter.
• The winner will also win two nights accommodation at the “Best Western” hotel in Kamloops. You will be our guest in the finest room with a spectacular view, at the best hotel in Kamloops! (There are no cash substitutes for the prize(s) offered).
• The contest is open to everyone, except friends and family members of CanDig Inc. cannot enter.
• Only one household member may enter.
• To enter, logon to the website www.candig.com and choose the “Contest” button. Each month, starting on May 1, 2008 a question will be posted. You will be able to “dig” around in the website to find the answer using clues that are given. Email your answer to sales@candig.com, providing your name, phone number, email, and mailing address. Please put “Contest” in the subject box of your email. If your answer is correct, your name will be added to the list of entries which will also be posted on the website for you to see.
• You may enter the contest as many as 10 times by correctly answering the 10 monthly questions posted during the 10 months of the contest (once per month). Note that 370 people have already been entered during the 10th annual Home and Garden show in April.
• Existing owners of a CanDig mini excavator, and agents are also eligible, and they will earn no more than one entry per month if they have entered at least one customer referral during each month. CanDig excavator owners and agents may earn entries by either referring customers, or by correctly answering questions from the website, but not both.
• The winner must allow CanDig Inc. to use their name and photograph (free) in any promotional materials.
• The winner will be chosen on March 1, 2009. On that day, the entries listed on the website will be printed, cut into individual “tickets”, then one name will be drawn by the NL radio news team. That name will be verified, but not released until March 31.
• The winner will not be notified until March 31. During the month of March, and up until the trade show in mid-April, weekly clues will be posted on the website, narrowing down the possibilities of who the winner is.
• During the 11th annual Kamloops Home and Garden Show in April/09, the winner will be announced on NL radio. It will also be posted on the website www.candig.com later that same day.
